Bolinas
The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Longley died on Monday night, January 13th. He had been sick for some time, but had been improving, until only a day previous to his death, when an acute case of bronchitis set in. The poor little child in his already weakened condition was unable to struggle against this serious relapse. He was a beautiful baby of a very sunny disposition and although so young – only 15 months, 5 days old – he had won the love of the whole town. It is a crushing blow to the young parents, but if the sympathy of a whole community is any comfort, Mr. and Mrs. Longley certainly have that, for there is not a man, woman, or child in Bolinas who grieves with them in their bereavement. The funeral was from the home of Mrs. Kelley, Mrs. Longley’s mother, in San Rafael.
