DONALD JENNETT
San Rafael resident
Donald Merle Jennett of San Rafael died of respiratory failure Aug. 14 at Marin General Hospital. He was 73.
Mr. Jennett was born in Sac City, Iowa, and lived in Belmont before settling in San Rafael. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps as a radioman during World War II.
He was a production manager for Lenkurt Electric, then went on to work for Badger Meter in Richmond until retiring in 1982.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Mr. Jennett is survived by his wife of 47 years, Leah Kidman Jennett of San Rafael; a daughter, Katherine Robinson of Petaluma; a son, Bruce Jennett of Sacramento; a twin brother, Dwight Jennett of Palos Verdes; a brother, Eugene Jennett of San Carlos; two sisters, Betty Grime of Storm Lake, Iowa, and Marilyn Patee of Sioux City, Iowa; and six grandchildren.
At his request, no services will be held.
