A solemn mass of requiem was celebrated on Monday for Mrs. J. Hunter who died at her home near Bloomfield on Friday. Rev. Philip Byrne was celebrant, Rev. John Cantillon of San Francisco, deacon and Rev. Father Collins sub-deacon. The funeral was largely attended by old friends of the deceased. Rev. Father Gleason pronounced a short eulogy.
