John Patton, an old and respected pioneer of this county, died at his home in Tomales a week ago Thursday afternoon. The funeral took place from there on Saturday and was largely attended by the many who came to pay their last tributes to one whom in life they had honored and respected. He came to California in 1853, and had been a resident of Tomales for over 30 years.
