LOUIS PIPAN
San Anselmo resident
Louis “Gigi” Pipan worked in such places as Vanessi’s and the __?__ Club in San Francisco and Deer Park Villa and Marin Joe’s locally.
He died Jan. 4 at 88.
A native of Italy, he came to America as a young man.
During World War II he served in the U. S. Army.
He enjoyed bacci ball, horse racing, and cooking.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie Pipan.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Rita’s, Fairfax.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the brother of Marie DeBaldini of Italy, and a native of Trieste. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
