Bolinas Pioneer Died Sunday
Henry Betten, an old and respected pioneer of Bolinas, died at his home there last Sunday at the advanced age of 82 years. Deceased and his family came to Bolinas 37 years ago. In 1876 he joined the Odd Fellows Lodge in this city and continued a member until the day of his death. The funeral took place at Bolinas yesterday, under the auspices of the local lodge, I.O.O.F. Many members went from this city to Bolinas to be present.
Deceased leaves a wife and 3 children: Edward F. Betten, Mrs. L. C. Bush, and Mrs. F. P. Pierce.
