Manuel M. Homen died at his home near Bolinas on Wednesday, October 16th, age forty years. The interment will be in Fernwood cemetery, Sausalito, on Sunday. The deceased was a native of the Azore Islands.

Funeral of Manuel Mechado Homen
Mass was said at the St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church on last Saturday for the repose of the soul of Manuel Mechado Homen and the funeral services were held at the Portuguese Society hall in North Sausalito on Sunday. Homen was one of the owners of the dairy farm at the White Gate near Willow Camp. He fell from a hay wagon under the horses injuring his chest so badly that he finally last week succumbed from the effects. He was a prominent member of the Portuguese Society and leaves many friends and relatives to mourn his loss
