Pioneer Citizen Passes to His Final Rest
Mr. James M. Jones, an old pioneer resident of San Rafael, died at his home this morning at the age of 84 years. Deceased was the husband of Elizabeth R. Jones, and the father of Mrs. Mary R. Gulde, Mrs. P. A. Seipel, Mrs. Charles Benson, Dr. O. L., R. M. and P. W. Jones.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p. m. from Sawyer's Undertaking Parlors. Interment in Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery.
He lived an honest, upright life, and he was a firm believer in the Golden Rule. He was a kind and good father, a devoted husband and a sincere, law-abiding citizen. He was a stranger to deceit and he had the respect and confidence of every one who ever had the pleasure of his acquaintance.
