Elsie I. Head
Elsie I. Head, a Rohnert Park nurse, died Tuesday at a local hospital after a short illness. She was 62.
A native of Idaho, Mrs. Head graduated from nursing school in Colorado Springs, Colo. She and her husband, Richard, had lived many years in San Bernardino before moving to Rohnert Park two years ago.
Mrs. Head had worked in the office of Dr. John H. Roberts, a Cotati physician.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Ron Head of Petaluma; three daughters, Betty Wood of Garden Grove, Laura Soofi of Riverside, and Carol Riemann of Morago; five sisters, Helen Scott of Cotati, Dorothy Lierman of Kimberley, Idaho, Charlotte Jones of Raymond, Idaho, Gladys Abadio of Paul, Idaho and Frances Crane of Boise, Idaho; a brother, Everett Johnstone of Naples, Idaho; and eight grandchildren.
A private funeral will be held Thursday at Two Rock Presbyterian Church, Two Rock. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
