OLUF E. THYGESEN
A funeral for Oluf Emanuel Thygesen of Petaluma will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Sorensen Funeral Home, Petaluma.
A native of Viborg, Denmark, Thygesen spent most of his life in Seattle, Wash. Where he was a painting contractor. He and his wife, Gerda, had moved to Petaluma five years ago.
Thygesen was past president of the Danish Brotherhood in Seattle and was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and Harmonien Club there.
He is also survived by two daughters, Joan Thygesen of San Francisco and Carol Osborn of San Rafael, and three grandchildren.
Burial will be at Cypress Hill Memorial Park.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the grandfather of Steven, Stacy and Bret Osborn, all of San Rafael. He was the father-in-law of Gary Osborn of San Rafael.
