Walter Miler Gone to Swell the Number Beyond the Grave
Another one of our citizens has been taken from our midst to swell the number of that mighty army beyond the grave. This one was Mr. Walter H. Miler, who died at his home in Sausalito on the morning of the 21st inst. Although he has not been in robust health for several years Mr. Miler did not become seriously ill until about four weeks ago, when he became afflicted with stomach troubles. Still he did not consider his ailment of sufficient importance to call in a doctor until last Saturday night, when he was taken suddenly with violent spasms of the bowels, superinduced by chronic gastro-enteritis.
Drs. Mays and Crumpton were summoned and did all for him that medical science could do, hut with no avail. He passed peacefully away, surrounded by his devoted wife and two loving daughters.
Deceased was born in New York and was 48 years and 11 months old. He came to California twenty-two years ago and settled in San Francisco. Two years ago he came to Sausalito and went into the liquor business here.
His kind, generous and charitable disposition won for him many friends.
