ROY FIRSTENBERG
Private service was yesterday for Roy Firstenberg, a Marin resident for 34 years and a retired construction worker, draftsman and estimator.
Firstenberg died Thursday at a local hospital after a brief illness. He was 81.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Firstenberg served in the army during World War I. For 50 years, first in Ohio and later in Marin, he worked for various construction companies. He retired 13 years ago.
He and his wife, Lilly, made their home in Kent Woodlands until moving to 8 Laurel Avenue, San Anselmo, a few years ago.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a brother, Clarence, of Toledo, Ohio.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that the service was held at Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo.
