Pioneer Passes Away

Mrs. Florinda Garcia, mother of Frank Garcia, a well known engineer on the Northwestern Pacific, quietly passed away at his home in San Rafael on Sunday at the ripe old age of 85 years. The funeral, held on Tuesday in San Rafael, was attended by many as she was highly esteemed.

She was born in the Azore Islands in 1827, came to the Reed ranch in 1874.
