Mrs. Alice Stokes, mother of Mrs. Alice Debret, died Saturday morning from cerebral hemorrhage and was laid to rest in Fernwood cemetery. Services were held in the Catholic Church on Monday. She was a native of Ireland, aged 75 years. She was very popular with her neighbors in Sausalito and was of a charitable disposition.
