Well Known Marin County Artist Dead

Louis E. Rea, well known artist, who has won fame thru his paintings of Marin county landscapes, died in San Francisco on Thursday, following an operation for appendicitis. Deceased was a member of Pacific Lodge No. 136, F. & A. M., and also of Islam Temple of the Shrine and the Scottish Rite. He is survived by a widow, and one child, Miss Luzern Rea. Funeral services were held on Mindoy (sic) in San Francisco.
