CHARLES LIGHT
A memorial service for Charles V. Light of Fairfax, former investigator for the Marin County Humane Society, will be at 12:15 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Tomales Bay Presbyterian Cemetery in Tomales.
Light, 65, died Monday in a local convalescent hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was a native of Pueblo, Colo. and had lived 63 years in California and 40 years in Marin.
Light worked for the humane society for 14 years prior to his retirement.
He was a member of the Marin County Peace Officers Association.
Light is survived by his wife, Ruth, and a son, Donald Light of Mill Valley.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the humane society or to the American Cancer Society.
