MRS. CARR
Funeral was held today in Hayward for Winifred L. Carr, 86, mother of Leslie T. Carr of Greenbrae.
A native of England, she had lived in the Bay Area since 1925. She was the wife of the late Thomas R. Carr, a former San Francisco grocery store owner.
She was a member of the Hayward Third Ward of the Church of the Latter-day Saints and an honorary member of the Daughters of the Pioneer, a Mormon group.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds information: In Castro Valley, Monday, Feb. 21, Winifred Lucy Carr … grandmother of Dayton T. Carr of New York and Brian L. Carr of San Jose. Interment was at Lone Tree Cemetery in Hayward.
