Mrs. Edith Mooers of Fairfax died Thursday morning at the Ross hospital as the result of burns received from boiling paraffin on Monday.
Mrs. Mooers attempted to take a kettle of boiling paraffin which had caught fire, out of doors. When she opened the door the wind blew the burning paraffin all over her. Her clothing immediately caught fire and she was frightfully burned. Taken to the hospital she lived until Thursday morning.
She is the daughter of Mrs. Mary Barberis, an old resident of Fairfax.
