JOHN CILIA
A Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated today in San Francisco for John B. Cilia, 71, father of Cecilia M. McGovern of Novato.
Cilia, a retired machinist, died at a Novato rest home Sunday after a long illness.
A native of Malta and a longtime resident of San Francisco, he had been living in Novato since last June. He was a retired member of Machinists Union, Local 1327.
Surviving, besides Mrs. McGovern, are a son, Vince Cilia of San Bruno; a sister, Carmella Tunna of San Francisco, and 15 grandchildren.
Burial was at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
