MARY FOSTER

Funeral for Mary B. Foster, longtime Marin City homemaker, will be at 10”30 a.m. Monday at the Russell and Gooch Mortuary in Mill Valley.

Mrs. Foster, 52, of 307 Drake Avenue, died Thursday in a local hospital. She was a native of Mississippi who came to California 30 years ago and lived the last 20 years in Marin. She was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Marin City.

Mrs. Foster is survived by four sons, Curlie Foster of San Rafael, and Eric King, Chester Foster and Lawrence Foster, all of Marin City; four daughters, Pearlie White of San Francisco, Lorraine Collins of Marin City, and Ivory Locey and Barbara Foster, both of Mill Valley; two brothers, William Baskin and Willie Fair, both of Chicago; a sister, Corine Fair of Chicago; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
