Pioneer Resident of San Geronimo Dead

Charles E. Lane, better known as “Charlie” Lane, an old and well known resident of San Geronimo, died at his home there on Tuesday. The deceased, who was a native of Maine, came to California many years ago, and was one of the first to locate in the San Geronimo Valley. He was 75 years of age at the time of his death.

The funeral of the aged pioneer was held yesterday, the services, held in the chapel of Keaton & Dusel, in San Rafael, being attended by many of the older residents of the county. Interment was private.
