Private Services For Mrs. Brainerd
Private funeral services were held yesterday for Mrs. Lillian Stelck Brainerd, 39, wife of Dr. Henry Brainerd of Kentfield, at Harry M. Williams Mortuary in San Rafael.
Her body was recovered Friday off Stinson Beach by the Coast Guard after she disappeared near there a month earlier. Former head nurse of the orthopedic clinic at University of California hospital, she was the mother of three children, Henry Jr., 11; Alan, 8, and Karen, 6.
Identification was made by her husband, who is professor of internal medicine at the University of California Hospital.
Following services, inurnment followed at Cypress Lawn Crematory.
