John Bailiff Dead
John Bailiff, an old pioneer, died at Santa Rosa Friday. He was the man who shot James Noon, Santa Rosa attorney, several years ago for alienating the affections of Mrs. Bailiff. Bailiff’s brother-in-law, Al Reed, was with Bailiff when the shooting occurred. Bailiff was acquitted.
