Veteran Mailman Dies Suddenly

The funeral of John P. Aylesworth, veteran mail carrier, was held this afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Mary E. Eden Funeral Parlors. Rev. O. M. Temple delivered the funeral oration. Cremation took place at the Berkeley Crematory.

Aylesworth, who was 50 years of age, was a native of Wisconsin. He had been a mail carrier for nearly 25 years in the local postoffice. He delivered main in the exclusive residential district in the northeastern part of the city.

He had not been well for some time, but he succumbed to pneumonia Tuesday, with which he was stricken a few days ago.
