Wife of Well Known Tomales Rancher Dead

Mrs. Helen W. Long, well known resident of Tomales and wife of Frank Long, rancher at that place, passed away on Tuesday night following an illness of three days.

Mrs. Long was the mother of Francis W. and Helen M. Young, and the daughter of Mrs. Sarah Trainor and the late William Trainor of Tomales, and the sister of Mrs. C. W. Gardner of Santa Rosa, Mrs. Peter Plunkett, Mrs. Voyle Stover and Mrs. Bud Steger of San Francisco. She was a native of Tomales, aged 39 years.

Mrs. Long was known in this city where she frequently visited and she had many friends in the Tomales and Petaluma districts.

The funeral will be held on Thursday morning at 10:30 o’clock, thence to the Church of Assumption in Tomales, where a requiem high mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul, commencing at 11 o’clock. Interment will take place in the family plot in Calvary cemetery, Tomales.
