Delano Visitor Dies In Hub City
Homer Andrew Bower, 83-year-old retired insurance broker from Delano, died suddenly this morning while visiting with friends in San Anselmo.
A native of Iowa, Bower had been living for the past six weeks with his daughter, Mrs. Mary Warren of 23 Jewell street, San Rafael. He was visiting in San Anselmo this morning when stricken suddenly, apparently from a heart condition.
Bower lived most of his life in Delano, where he was a member of the Delano Masonic Lodge. Surviving children besides Mrs. Warren are sons, Lisle G. of Inyokin, California, and Lynn A. Bower of Seattle; and daughters Mrs. Ruth Kahler and Carolyn H. Bower, both of Fresno. He also leaves 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral services and interment will be held in Delano on Wednesday.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the husband of the late Delia Bower, and that son Lisle was a resident of Inyokern.
