Death Claims Old Resident of San Rafael
James H. Healy, brother of the late Frank Healy, at one time sheriff of Marin County, and also a brother of the late John Healy, who was chief of police of San Rafael preceding Peter O’Brien, died Saturday after a long illness.
A native of New York, Healy came to Marin County forty-one years ago. During the time his brother was sheriff, he acted as a deputy.
Healy is survived by a widow, Mrs. Clara Healy; a daughter, Mrs. Rose Keegan, a son, Frank Healy, and two sisters, Mrs. M. Madden and Mrs. Charles Mutti.
A requiem mass will be said for the repose of his soul tomorrow morning at 9:30 at St. Raphael’s church. Interment will take place at Mt. Olivet cemetery. Arrangements for the funeral are in the hands of the Mary Eden funeral parlors.
