Edward S. Lippitt, of Petaluma, died Friday, May 3rd, at the advanced age of 87 years. He was a pioneer of Northern California, and was an educator and attorney of prominence, and a most highly esteemed citizen. He was attorney for what is now the Northwestern Pacific railroad at the time it was built by Col. Donohue.
