MARK BROWNELL
Mark Brownell, 84, of Larkspur, a resident of Marin County for six years, died yesterday in a local hospital after a long illness.
Brownell, a native of Oregon, was retired after working in the stationery business in San Francisco. He lived for the last few years with a daughter, Mrs. Tracy L. Mills of 57 Elm Street, Larkspur.
Besides Mrs. Mills, Brownell is survived by a son, Stuart Brownell of Sacramento and another daughter, Martha Brownell of San Francisco. Funeral arrangements are pending at Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo.

MARK BROWNELL
Private funeral services were held today for Mark E. Brownell, 84, of Larkspur, at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo. Brownell died Friday in a local hospital after a long illness.
Brownell is survived by three daughters and one son, Mrs. Elizabeth Mills of Larkspur, Martha Brownell and Mrs. Hillary Rich of San Francisco, and Stuart Brownell of Sacramento, six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A Death Notice in the Jan. 7th paper says he died Jan. 5, 1963, and adds that he was a native of Gardiner, Oregon. Mrs. Mills is referred to as Mary Elizabeth Mills.
