Death of Mrs. Baldwin
Mrs. L. K. Baldwin, wife of L. K. Baldwin, a prominent banker of Santa Cruz, died a few days ago. Mr. Baldwin was one of the early settlers in Marin County, and from 1863 to 1867 he represented the Olema district as a member of the board of supervisors, succeeding Daniel Olds, and was succeeded by Samuel Clark. He owned what is now the Bloom ranch near Olema and made a name for the Baldwin butter which has stood the test for 30 years or more. More than 20 years ago he moved from this county to Santa Cruz.
