MATILDA SILVA
Matilda Silva, a resident of Marin County for 48 years, died in her home at 321 D Street today after a long illness.
Mrs. Silva, 81, was a native of the Azores Islands. She leaves two sons, Paul and Marcellino Silva, both of San Rafael, and a sister, Rose Fragoza of Novato. She is also survived by two grandchildren.
The funeral cortege will leave Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael, at 9:15 a.m. Friday and proceed to Saint Raphael’s Church where a Requiem High Mass will be offered beginning at 9:30 a.m.
The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tomorrow at the mortuary. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the wife of the late Marcellino Silva, and grandmother of Pauline and Barbara Silva.
