LOUIS SIMON

SAN FRANCISCO (UPI) – Memorial services will be held tomorrow for Louis S. Simon, area vice president of Group W television stations.

Simon, 58, who died of a heart ailment yesterday at Children’s Hospital, began his broadcast career with San Francisco radio station KSFO in 1945.

He was named general sales manager of KPIX-TV in 1948 when the station first went on the air. Ten years later he became the station’s general manager and in 1968 he was named Group W area vice president.

Simon is survived by his widow, Gladys, and two children, Deborah and Robert. The family home is here.
