Funeral of Mrs. Hurts Is Held Tuesday

Mrs. Blanche L. Hurts, 61, who has been operating a rooming house on Fifth Street, San Rafael for the past six years, died in a hospital here Monday morning. She had been in ill health for a long time, but it was not until a few days before her death that she would consent to be taken to the hospital for treatment.

Mrs. Hurts was a native of New York, the widow of the late Samuel Hurts. Funeral service was held Tuesday morning from the Keaton Mortuary, followed by interment at Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
