Bridge Suicide Leaves Receipt For His Burial

Matt Gleason, 70-year-old San Francisco resident, leaped to his death from the Golden Gate Bridge last Sunday. Investigating officers found a receipt in the man’s coat, from a San Francisco mortician, showing that sufficient money had been deposited for proper burial.

The date on the receipt was nearly a year old. Gleason’s body has not been recovered, and probably never will be.
