William L. Renne, War Veteran, Dies
William L. Renne, well known in local mechanics’ trade circles, passed away last week following a long illness. He resided at Manor for several years prior to taking up residence in San Rafael.
Deceased was 67 years of age, a native of Hartford, Conn., and a veteran of the Spanish American war, serving as quartermaster sergeant of Company G, 33rd U. S. Volunteers.
He leaves a widow and a daughter, Mrs. William Brown, both of San Rafael. Funeral services with military honors were held at the National Cemetery, Presidio, San Francisco.
