Silas Wright
Former resident
Silas Luther (Jack) Wright Jr. died Sept. 17 in home in Oakland. He was 87.
Mr. Wright was born in Hanford. He played the saxophone and worked as a painter.
He was a musician, a craftsman and a storyteller. He lived in San Rafael for most of his adult life.
His wife of 56 years, Erma Marie Wright, died earlier.
He is survived by a brother, John R. Wright; a sister, Betty Bowen; three sons, David, Dennis and Darryl Wright; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
