EMILE CUENIN
Emile F. Cuenin, 83, father of Mrs. Catherine McCarthy of Kentfield, died yesterday in an East Bay hospital following a long illness.
Cuenin was manager of the Colonial Cafeteria in Oakland from 1920 until his retirement in 1963. He had lived in Rossmoor in Dublin since then.
A native of San Francisco, Cuenin had lived in the Bay Area all of his life and had been a member of the Oakland Rotary Club for 49 years. His wife, Catherine Hazel Cuenin, died about two years ago.
Survivors are his daughter; a son, Dr. Robert Cuenin of Danville; a sister, Auriette Bouvier of San Francisco; two brothers, Dr. Leon Cuenin of San Francisco and Albert Cuenin of Belmont; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow in the San Ramon Valley Chapel, Danville, followed by provate inurnment.
