Lorraine Parachini
40-year resident of Marin
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Lorraine Parachini, longtime San Anselmo resident, at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anselm’s Church in Ross.
Mrs. Parachini, who was 67, died Saturday, April 29, 1989, at the University of California Hospital in San Francisco after suffering from various health problems for several years.
Mrs. Parachini was born and grew up in Minnesota. She came to San Anselmo about 40 years ago after her marriage to Joseph Parachini. They moved to the house on Sycamore Avenue after their marriage and it continued as the family home until her death. Mr. Parachini died about four years ago.
Mrs. Parachini was a homemaker and also had been active in Scouting, earning the Silver Fawn award, the equivalent of today’s Silver Beaver award. She also had worked as a volunteer teacher’s aide.
Mrs. Parachini is survived by three sons, Marti Parachini of Big Bar, Trinity County, and Carlo and Mark Parachini, both of Dallas; six grandchildren; and a sister in Minnesota.
Burial will be in Valley Memorial Park in Novato. A rosary will be recited today at 7:30 p.m. at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael.

A Paid Death Notice in the same paper says that he was survived by 4 grandchildren.
