Alexander Russell Dies At 76
Alexander T. Russell, 76, of 14 Roosevelt Avenue, San Rafael, a retired plumber, died today at Kaiser Hospital, Richmond. He had been ill about five years.
A native of Canada, he worked as a plumber in Alaskan gold mines before coming to California about 1924. He was employed as a plumber in Atascadero and San Francisco before he retired and moved to Marin about six years ago.
Russell leaves his wife, Hilda; two daughters, Mrs. Doreen Becot of San Anselmo and Mrs. Jean Brown of Pasadena, and one grandchild.
He was a life member of Mt. Juneau, Alaska, Lodge 147, F. and A.M.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael, under auspices of Fairfax Lodge 556, F. and A.M. Inurnment will be private.

A death notice in the same paper adds that his grandchild was named Nancy Doreen Brown.
