Daisy Riewerts

Funeral for Daisy Riewerts of Penngrove will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Parent Funeral Chapel in Petaluma.

Mrs. Riewerts, 92, died Sunday after a long illness.

She was a native of Penngrove and lived her entire life there.

For many years she and her late husband, Chris, owned and operated Chris’s Toggery in Petaluma.

Mrs. Riewerts is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Hayter of Healdsburg and four sisters, Emma Waddel of Petaluma, Anne Roach of Petaluma, Elizabeth Peters of Penngrove, Mrs. Harvey Nelson of Ross, and a brother, Wilfred Peters of St. Helena, Napa County.

Rev. George Skaret of the Penngrove Community Church will officiate at the funeral. Entombment will be private at Cypress Hill Memorial Park.
