Joseph Blumenthal
Funeral for Joseph Blumenthal of San Francisco, father of Michael Blumenthal of Greenbrae, was held today in San Francisco.
Blumenthal died Sunday in a San Francisco hospital after a short illness.
He owned and operated a liquor store in New Jersey for many years before moving to San Francisco two and a half years ago. Blumenthal was a native of New York City.
In addition to his son, surviving are his wife, Belle of San Francisco; a brother, Edward, and two sisters, Helen Levy and Beatrice Blumenthal, all of New York City.
The family requests memorial contributions to Mount Zion Hospital Neurological Institute.
