B. F. Kettlewell, one of the prominent residents of St. Helena, died on Monday evening May 16th at Burke’s, near Santa Rosa. He had been in poor health for a long time. He was the father of Charles Kettlewell of this city, and a brother-in-law of Dr. G. G. Vanderlip. Dr. and Mrs. Vanderlip went to Burke’s to be at his bedside and later went to St. Helena to attend the funeral.
