James Kaufman
Worked for S. F. Muni
James “Big Jim” Kaufman of Mill Valley worked for the San Francisco Municipal Railway for 30 years both as an inspector and a vice president with t he Muni Credit Union.
He died Jan. 7 at 59. He was born in San Francisco.
Mr. Kaufman enjoyed target shooting and his “JK truck.”
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Kaufman; daughters, Heather and Stacey Kaufman; and sister, Barbara Petree.
A memorial serviced will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Russell and Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley.
Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
