Russell Doran Gettemy
Former Marin resident

Russell Doran Gettemy of Carmichael died Jan. 6 of liver failure. He was 50.

Mr. Gettemy was born in Sacramento and previously lived in Corte Madera.

He worked for 25 years for Lucky markets.

Mr. Gettemy was a U.S. Army veteran.

He enjoyed sailing in San Francisco Bay and the Delta, fishing and golf.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly Gettemy; parents, Graham and Joan Gettemy; daugher, Gina Gettemy; brother, Michael Gettemy; and sister, Lynn.

Services were held in Citrus Heights.
