Jessie Ramsey Dies At Ranch
Jessie Ramsey, lifetime Marin County resident, died last night in her Chileno Valley ranch, at 4669 Chileno Valley Road. She was 96 years old.
Mrs. Ramsey had been in a wheel chair since she broke her hip seven years ago.
She was married to the late Robert Ramsey, cattle rancher, in Salinas Valley where she moved after her marriage. She moved back to Marin County 42 years ago following her husband’s death.
She was a member of the Christian Science Church of San Rafael.
The funeral services will be held at the Parent Funeral Chapel in Petaluma Friday at 2 p.m. Inurnment will be private.
She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Mabel Bentley who lived with her on the ranch.
