GIM T.WONG
Gim T. Wong, 55, a kitchen employee and resident of Travelers Inn at 706 Third Street in San Rafael, was found dead in the hallway of the hotel shortly after 3 a.m. today.
Police said Wong’s body was discovered by Kem Yim Louie, kitchen manager, who also lives at the hotel. Louie said he had hired Wong two days ago through the China Employment Agency in San Francisco. The agency was unable to give any information on the dead man.
Louie told police he heard Wong fall outside his door.
Among the dead man’s personal effects was $23 and identification bearing Klamath Falls and White City, Ore., addresses. Deputy Coroner William C. Bradley said an autopsy would be performed.
