David H. Leveroni Jr.
Novato resident
David Henry Leveroni Jr. died Dec. 1 at his home in Novato. He was 87.
He was born in Sonoma and moved with his parents to Novato in 1927. The family ran a dairy. Mr. Leveroni continued the tradition, becoming a dairyman and living on the dairy ranch his entire life. He retired in 1976.
He was a member of Nicasio Native Sons #183, the Petaluma Elks Club #901 and the Novato Volunteer Fireman’s Association.
He is survived by his wife, Ida Leveroni of Novato; two sons, David Leveroni III and Robert Leveroni, both of Novato; a brother, Clarence Leveroni of Novato; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2 to 5 p.m. today at Keaton’s Redwood Chapel of Marin in Novato. Vigil services will be 7 p.m. today at Our Lady of Loretto Church in Novato.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at Our Lady of Loretto Church. Interment will be at Valley Memorial Park in Novato.

A Paid Death Notice in the Dec. 2nd paper adds that he was the father-in-law of Joyce and Maradee Leveroni; grandfather of David Leveroni IV, Paul Leveroni, Laurie Figone, Robbi Leveroni and Tracy Leveroni.
