H. J. Kemp Dies in San Francisco Hospital
Following a brief illness, Hills Johnson (Jack) Kemp, contractor and builder, died last night in a San Francisco hospital. Kemp had contracted for a number of fine homes in San Rafael, San Anselmo, and vicinity and was a prominent figure in the contracting world.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Pearl Kemp and two daughters, Thelma and Nedra Kemp. He was a native of Indiana, aged 45 years, 7 months, and 45 days. He was the brother of Mrs. Hazel Wilson, Ralph and Charles Kemp of Texas.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the chapel of Jenness and Russell. The services will be under the auspices of Nyodo Lodge No. 478 I.O.O.F. of which he was a member. Interment will be in the Petaluma cemetery.
