Lumber Broker George Helms Dies
George S. Helms, 50, lumber broker, died today at a local hospital after a short illness. He had been hospitalized since Sept. 6.
Helms had been a resident of Marin County for six years. He resided at 224 Laurel Place, San Rafael, with his wife, Mariann, and two daughters, Joan, 15, and Susan, 7. He was born in Billings, Mont.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Carew and English, San Francisco.
