Janette Campana
Janette Campana, 55, of Corte Madera, an artist and former bank teller, died Thursday.
Mrs. Campana was the wife of William Paul Campana, a transportation rate expert with the state Public Utilities Commission office in San Francisco.
She formerly was a teller at the Bank of America in Corte Madera and was a member of the Marin Society of Artists.
Mrs. Campana had been a resident of Corte Madera for 27 years and formerly lived in San Francisco. She was a native of Eugene, Ore., who moved to California when a child.
Surviving, besides her husband, are three daughters, Judy McKean and Suzy Denning, both of Kentfield, and Patti Swett of Novato; her mother, Vera Standifer of Corte Madera; a brother, Robert Standifer of Sacramento; a sister, Katie Mitchell of Novato and three grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Sebastian’s Church, Greenbrae. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today at Daphne Funerals of Marin, 601 Tamalpais Drive, Corte Madera. The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to the Sisters of the Holy Family in San Francisco.
